Money donated to the Hoa Nguyen Fund will be used primarily to cover legal expenses incurred during and after her detainment (e.g., lawyer fees)
In addition to legal fees the fund will cover:
- incidental expenses Hoa’s family incurs during the legal process (e.g., travel, long distance communications)
- items for Hoa during detainment (e.g., new books, clothing)
- expenses associated with managing the fund (e.g., tax and legal advice)
In the event that there is money remaining after all the expenses have been paid, the following action will be taken:
- A sum not exceeding $400 will be given to Dan and Hoa to use for rest and relaxation after this difficult period.
- All remaining money will be donated to the non profit organization, American Families United (www.americanfamiliesunited.org)
